About

Hola, I'm Kimberly.

As the daughter of immigrants, my path to becoming a therapist was shaped by cultural expectations and the silent stigma around mental health in my community. That experience is the heart of my work.

My background spans community mental health and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and it informs a practice grounded in empathy, resilience, and the human capacity for growth.

Areas of focus

What we can work on together

  • Trauma

Processing painful experiences safely and at your own pace, so the past has less hold on the present.

  • Anxiety & depression

Understanding what sits underneath, and building tools that make day-to-day life feel lighter.

  • Generational trauma

Untangling patterns passed down through family, and choosing what you want to carry forward.

  • First-generation stress

Imposter syndrome, family expectations, and the pressure of being the first to walk a new path.

  • Emotional regulation

Learning to move through intense emotions without being overwhelmed by them.

  • Life transitions

Support through change: new roles, loss, relationships, and finding your footing again.
